This policy explains what myrank.fun ("we", "us") collects, why, and what choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

myrank.fun operates a ranking site where people enter categories and earn or buy votes. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at support@myrank.fun.

Information we collect

We collect the following:

• Account information. Your email address and name when you sign up, or the basic profile Google shares if you sign in with Google.
• Profile information you provide. When you enter a category you add a display name, photo, tagline, a short bio, country, social links, and category-specific details. This information is public by design.
• Activity. The categories you enter, the votes you cast or withdraw, and votes you buy.
• Payment information. When you buy votes, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we keep a record of the purchase (amount, date, status). Vote purchases are final and non-refundable.
• Usage and device data. Standard analytics such as pages visited, referrer, approximate location, and device or browser type, collected through Google Analytics.

How we use it

• To run the service: create your account, publish your entry, count votes, and process purchases.
• To communicate with you, such as email verification and important notices.
• To keep the site safe, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• To understand and improve how the site is used.

Information that is public

Your entry is meant to be seen. Your display name, photo, tagline, bio, country, social links, category details, and vote totals are visible to anyone. Your email address and the split between free and paid votes are not public.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the site, and share only what each needs:

• Supabase for our database, authentication, and file storage.
• Railway for hosting.
• Stripe for payments.
• Google for sign-in (if you use it) and for Google Analytics.
• Our email provider, to send account emails.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of people using the site.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working.

Retention

We keep your account and entry information while your account is active. If you delete an entry it is removed along with its votes. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, contact us at support@myrank.fun.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile, and delete your entries. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@myrank.fun.

Children

The site is for people aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the site, contact us and we will remove the information.

Security and international transfers

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our providers may process and store data in countries other than yours.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice.
